About the SquadThe Morganville First Aid & Rescue Squad (MFARS) is the primary EMS response unit serving all of zip codes 07751 (Morganville), 07765 (Wickatunk), the northeast portion
of 07726 including the Whittier Oaks West, Marlboro Greens and Prides Crossing Developments, and the northeast portion of 07746 including Rosemont Estates.
The Marlboro and Englishtown/Manalapan First Aid Squads
are the primary responders for other areas of our growing community although we occasionally cover one another. We also receive paramedic support from the
Monmouth-Ocean Hospital Service Corporation (MONOC). HistoryMorganville First Aid was officially incorporated on July 13, 1952 by our 12 charter members. We had one ambulance, stationed at our original building. This building was built by our members across from what is now Skip's Garage on Tennent Road. Read our detailed history! FundingOur services are free. The squad receives a grant from Marlboro Township every year and they own the building and vehicles. The Township maintains the vehicles so they are ready to respond at a moment's notice every hour, every day. But the grant covers only about 1/4 of our operating expense. Medical supplies, additional training, specialized equipment, maintenace of medical equipment and much more are funded by community donations and fundraising. AmbulancesWe operate three modern, fully equipped ambulances and a fully equipped first responder vehicle. With fantastic support from the township mechanics, our vehicles have an inservice percentage above 97%! Each unit has its own identifier: 28-362, 28-363, 28-364 and 28-355.

28-362 is the preferred ambulance for multiple patients. We carry
enough gear in this unit to treat 8 people!
28-363, our newest rig, is well equipped for Motor Vehicle Collisions.
28-364 carries supplies to support our fire companies including
additional lighting and drinking water.
28-355 is our first responder vehicle. Members can use this vehicle within the town to assure a quick response to a call
while other members are rolling an ambulance.
